La Torretta

La Torretta is located on the top of a bright hill from which you can enjoy a 360° panorama dotted with olive trees, vines and almond groves. The district is called Cicerali from the ancient cultivation of chickpeas and is located in the heart of the Valle d’Itria, in the countryside of Ostuni, halfway between Cisternino & Ostuni
From the roofs you can enjoy splendid sunsets and reach the main cities of the Itria valley, Ostuni, Cisternino, Martina Franca and Ceglie Messapica, in the different cardinal points. La Torretta is an ancient agricultural garrison with a characteristic truncated cone shape, has now been restored in its ancient part and enlarged with new volumes of modern architecture in an exciting dialogue between memory and the present. Even the interiors play between history and the contemporary by combining furniture, crockery and fabrics recovered from the rural tradition and local craftsmanship and objects and accessories with a current design.

The residence is made up of 3 units of which the central one, contains four rooms: a well- structured living room, a double bedroom, a bathroom and a spacious kitchen with dining area. The other two units are composed of double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and are self- sufficient in terms of heating and cooling.
The red room (dependance) is also equipped with a sofa bed that can be used as an additional single bed, has its entrance onto a patio protected on three sides where you can have breakfast or lie down and stop in the shade overlooking the pool and the wide panorama.

The heart of the residence is the spectacular swimming pool, 13 meters long, facing lengthwise over the valley landscape and around which large terraces allow for pleasant breaks in different angles. Among the open spaces, there is a dining area with a long convivial table projected onto the landscape through a large window on a front wall, which is at the same time its base.

The interior of the main historical space, is divided into two areas which respectively contain the living room with the original niche, and a sofa area organized around a fireplace stove. In addition to the fireplace, the house has an independent underfloor heating system and is fully equipped with all the most important appliances and has original local ceramic dishes that make convivial moments pleasant and special. The exterior is equipped with a large number of sunbeds, deck chairs and armchairs arranged on the various solarium areas, a particular shower near the swimming pool and an external kitchen with sink and barbecue. The internal environments are made pleasant and empathic both through technological services such as smart TV and wi-fi and with pieces of traditional and contemporary design as well as for the presence of various pieces of art, furnishings and paintings, whose presence is also widespread in all other areas of the residence. The presence of artistic elements is one of the traits that distinguishes the entire house and restores the owner’s interest and willingness to share quality and beauty with his guests immersed in an extraordinary natural and peaceful environment.
